Astrid Lindgren’s roots were in Småland but she spent most of her life in Stockholm. She had moved to the city in 1926, only 18 years old. And on the 22nd of September 1941 she moved, together with her family, into the flat on Dalagatan 46.

While researching our ports of call I discovered that there was a museum in Stockholm called Junibacken which was devoted to the works of Ms. Lindgren (and Pippi Longstocking in particular) and we decided to make a visit there a priority for our day.
